Golf Outing Offers Prizes Including Cars and $1,000,000 Hole-in-One

New Brunswick, NJ - If golf is your passion (as well as theatre), New Brunswick's George Street Playhouse invites you to participate in their 17th Annual Benefit Gold Tournament, to be held Monday, June 16 on the Banks course at Forsgate Country Club eighteen of the most challenging holes of golf in the state. The individual golfer fee of $400 includes all greens fees, carts, lunch, beverages on the course, and a buffet dinner and awards ceremony with a host of wonderful prizes including cars, a historic Scotland Golf Trip, and a $1,000,000 hole-in-one.
Golfers will be arranged in foursomes (if they haven't signed up as such already) and will play scramble format, which allows each golfer to tee off and then all four will hit from the location of the best ball. In addition to signing up as a golfer, there are numerous sponsorship opportunities for individuals or businesses. Under the leadership of Artistic Director David Saint, George Street Playhouse has become a nationally recognized theatre, presenting an acclaimed main season while providing an artistic home for established and emerging theatre artists. Founded in 1974, the Playhouse has been well represented by numerous productions both on and off-Broadway - recent productions include Anne Mara's Down the Garden Paths, the Outer Critics Circle, Drama Desk and Drama League nominated production of The Spitfire Grill and the recent Broadway hit and Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning play Proof by David Auburn, which was developed at GASP during the 1999 Next Stage Series of new plays. Eleventh Hour Rescue's Benefit Golf Outing

On Thursday, July 10th, Eleventh Hour Rescue will hold its first benefit Golf Outing at The Knoll Country Club (West Course) in Parsippany, New Jersey.
Slated to be one of Eleventh Hour Rescue's biggest events for 2008, the Golf Outing will be a day of golf, with lunch, a cocktail reception, dinner and prizes, all to benefit homeless dogs that have been rescued nationwide by Eleventh Hour Rescue.
There will be various Hole In One contests, including a chance to win a new Land Rover, or a trip to the Bahamas, raffles throughout the day, prizes for the top 3 foursomes and much, much more. The day will begin with registration at 11:30am, lunch at noon, and a 1:00pm "shotgun" Tee Off. Cost for participation is $175.00 for golfers, and for spouses wishing to enjoy dinner and cocktails, the cost is $75.00 per person. Charles, a Lieutenant with the New York City Fire Department, was lost in the disaster of September 11, 2001. Funds collected will go towards charities, as well as other causes, as requested by the Garbarini family. Last year’s event was our most successful to date; we hope you can join us for what we expect to be yet another day of fun, golf, camaraderie and remembrance of a true Hero.
The format will be a shotgun scramble that will begin at 10:00AM sharp. The cost will be $135.00 per person, which includes breakfast (coffee and donuts), lunch and a buffet dinner to follow. On May 8th 2008, The Long Valley Woman's Club will sponsor its Third Annual Charity Golf Outing at the Hawk Pointe Golf Club at 294 Route 31 in Washington, N.J. All proceeds will benefit local charities and community organizations.
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. with a box lunch on a cart at 11:30. The shotgun start is at 12:00 p.m. followed by awards, dinner buffet, and cash bar at 4:30 p.m. The cost is $155 per golfer. J-Walkers for the Cure, a NJ non-profit corporation, is pleased to announce our second annual J-Walkers Golf for the Cure. This event is being held again at the prestigious Pine Hill Golf Club in Pine Hill, New Jersey on Monday, May 12th, 2008. The format is a 4-man scramble. Your tax-deductible donation benefits Susan G. Komen 3-DAY Breast Cancer event being held in Philadelphia this coming October. All walkers in this 60-mile 3-day event are required to raise $2,200 EACH to participate.

This will be the fourth year SOCMA members, colleagues, customers, and other guests will raise money in support of the American Chemical Society (ACS) Scholars Program. The Scholars Program helps fund the continuing education of gifted, deserving African American, Hispanic/Latino and American Indian students looking to pursue undergraduate college degrees in chemical sciences and chemical technology.
