NorthJersey.com reports: North Jersey golfers may face more than one kind of water hazard when they hit the links. Drinking water, typically provided in plastic coolers at regular intervals near tees, can contain potentially dangerous bacteria, according to an investigation by The Record. Of a dozen water samples drawn this month from coolers at five public courses in Bergen and Passaic counties, five tested positive for coliform bacteria.
